Frequently asked questions

How do the Speed and Agility sessions work and how long do they go for ?


The speed sessions include technique work with specifically chosen technical drills first, then we incorporate excerises such as plyometrics or mobility drills to improve an athlete's biggest needs and then the athlete is exposed to sprints to improve their top speed. Sessions go for around 50 minutes.




How does group training work ?


Before joining a group, I recommend 1on1 Private Training Sessions first to bring the athlete up to speed on all of the drills and exercises. Groups then work as best suited to the athlete and can be Track and Field focused or Team Sport focused. Groups run for about 60-75mins depending on the session and vary in price per number of athletes in the session.




How long will it take for me to get fast and how much training do you recommend ?


That's the million dollar question The more frequent, consistent and effort you put in the faster you will get. As a general rule I would recommend a minimum 12 regular speed sessions to be a worthwhile investment in improving technique and developing speed to then go back to your chosen sport.




Do you offer speed and strength training together  ?


Yes I offer sprint training and strength training together for an athlete. I can also provide those services separately.
